Y.M.D. Babes of OJO will take on Apapa Iganmu in what is most likely a mismatch at Alade stadium on This evening. A win for OJO is the most plausibe scenario but OJO FC’s focus will be on the result of the match at Epe between Onigbongbo Ultimate Strikers and Surulere FC.

In League 1, Orile Agege only require a draw to win the division when they face Ikorodu Central on Saturday afternoon.

Egbe Idinmu drubbed Ojodu 5-0 in the final match of the season and will fall to third if Ibeju Lekki win their final match against Ifelodun FC. Lekki FC’s fate as fourth is sealed inspite the outcome of their match against Epe Alaro.

Bariga FC narrowly edged Ojodu Fc to fifth place on goals difference. Shomolu FC, Yaba FC, Ikosi Isheri and Agbado Oke Odo are set to complete the top ten.

Lagos Junior League: Surulere Sports City FC secures vital away win as Ifako Ijaiye hammers Ajeromi Ifelodun 7-2

Surulere Sport City FC achieved an almost impossible feat when they defeated Y.M.D Babes of OJO in their LASU stronghold on Sunday evening. Surulere held on to a single goal scored early in the second half and played confidently to subdue the highly rated OJO side.

This score line has once again thrown open the title race with Ojo, Surulere, Apapa and Ifako Ijaiye all back in contention.
Ifako Ijaiye continued their impressive form as they routed Ajeromi Ifelodun 7-2.

Two goals in the first ten minutes of the game from Akinde Surah and Akeem Taiwo set the mood for a rout, Koku Mensa pulled one back for Ajeromi Ifelodun in the 12th minute but after two first half goals and three more in the second half the game was out of Ajeromi’s reach.

In League 1 Orile Agege have had a lovely week first peeping Lekki in their rescheduled encounter then they pulled off a grand coup as a lone goal over Egbe Idimu helped propel them to the top of the League 1 table, Ibeju lekki also trumped local rivals Lekki Fc 2-1 to drag themselves back into contention.
