This Festival is self-contained technically; we only provide guidance in a few areas and this can be played in any part of the country” noted Levian Ashaba the tournament Director and Head of Mass Volleyball Commission. “The Athletes besides playing to officiate their own games,” he added.
All athletes and teachers received goodies from the Events sponsors Movit Limited and Coca Cola. “As a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, we always give back to the community who we believe in.” said Amos Mugarura Movit’s Public Relations Officer.
Movit previously supported the 2nd Edition of the Margret Cox Memorial tournament held at Gayaza High School. “We are therefore looking forward to strengthening this relationship with the Volleyball community” Amos added.
The event is expected to be bi annual and Trinity College Nabingo will be a Festival Center for the Central region as the Commission continues to identify more centers especially up-country.
