Right back- Allan Nyom (Watford):

The Cameroonian international defender had an outstanding game against Sunderland at the weekend. He had a good defensive performance, minimising the threat of Jermain Defoe from the flank and he set up Odion Ighalo’s 10th goal of the season.

Centre back- Jonas Olsson (West Bromwich Albion):

Jonas Ollson was a “rock” at the heart of West Brom’s defence at Anfield on Sunday. He co-ordinated the Baggies defence, making 10 clearances in the process. He capped off his fine performance by scoring a lovely header against the Reds.

Centre back- Simon Francis (Bournemouth):

Simon Francis had an outstanding game against Manchester United at the weekend. He was “solid” in defence and made runs forward to support the attack.

Left back- Nathan Ake (Watford):

The young Dutch defender continued his fine form against Sunderland at the stadium of light on Saturday. His darting runs help his team pile a lot of pressure on Sunderland’s defence.

Centre midfield- Yohan Cabaye (Crystal Palace):

The French midfielder dictated the pace of game in the midfield and capped off his fine performance with a well-taken goal.

Centre midfield- Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal):

The Welshman is enjoying life in the centre of the Arsenal’s midfield. His creativity and build-up play is a joy to watch. He capped off his stand-out performance with a fine goal.

Attacking midfield- Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City):

The Algerian playmaker continued his “magical” form against Chelsea on Monday night, setting up Jamie Vardy’s 15th goal of the season and also scoring a stunning goal to send Claudio Ranieri’s men back to the summit of the Premier League table.

Forward- Joshua King (Bournemouth):

The former Manchester United striker tormented the “red devils” young defence through out the match and scored the winning goal.

Forward- Odion Ighalo (Watford):

The Nigerian international striker continued his blistering form against Sunderland, he simply can’t stop scoring as he got his 10th goal of the season at the weekend.

Forward- Romelu Lukaku (Everton):

The Belgian striker is “on fire” scoring in his sixth successive Premier League match in Everton’s 1-1 away draw with Norwich.

The Spanish shot stopper was at his best at Vicarage road on Saturday making point blank saves to help his side get an away win.

The Irish defender had an outstanding performance against Aston Villa at the weekend. He was “solid” in defence and his darting runs caused Aston Villa problems throughout out the match.

Centre back – Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham)

Alderweireld continued his impressive run in the Tottenham defence against West Ham on Sunday. He capped off his solid defensive performance with a lovely goal.

Centre back – Martin Skrtel (Liverpool)

The Liverpool defender had an awesome performance against Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday. He showed defensive solidity throughout the match and scored a breathtaking volley.

Left back – Danny Rose (Tottenham)

The English defender is having a fine season and showed that with another standout performance in Tottenham’s victory against West Ham.

Centre midfield – Ross Barkley (Everton)

The young English midfielder had an outstanding performance at the weekend. He scored two beautiful goals and created one as Everton thrashed Aston Villa 4-0.

The Brazilian’s performance against Manchester City was outstanding. His combination with fellow Brazilian Firmino was a joy to watch. He capped off his performance with a lovely goal.

Left midfield – Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)

The Brazilian had a stand out performance against Manchester City at the weekend. His trickery on the ball and his link up with Coutinho was devastating for Manchester City. He capped off his performance with a sublime finish.

The young English striker continued his fine form at the weekend scoring two beautiful goals against West Ham.

Another top performance from the Belgian striker who scored two beautiful goals against Aston Villa and he reached an impressive landmark becoming the fifth player in Premier League history to score 50 goals before turning 23 (along with Fowler, Owen, Rooney & Ronaldo)

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris (Tottenham)

The French goalkeeper was at his best against Manchester City on Saturday. He made a top-class save from Raheem Sterling when his team were trailing 1-0 and that was the turning point in the game. Hugo Lloris made seven saves in the match to thwart the Sky Blues and that is world class goalkeeping.

Right back: Kyle Walker (Tottenham)

The England defender had a great game at the weekend, making clean tackles and cancelling out the threat of Raheem Sterling in the second half of the match.

Centre back: Kevin Mbabu (Newcastle)

The 20-year-old defender made his premier league debut on Saturday against Chelsea and his performance was outstanding. Kevin Mbabu made more tackles than any other defender in Game week 7.

Centre back: Virgil van Dijk (Southampton)

The Dutch defender had a poor game a week ago when he was run ragged by Manchester United’s Anthony Martial but he bounced back on Saturday against Swansea. He dictated the play in the defence and made sure Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis was ineffective. He capped off his outstanding performance with a well-taken goal.

Left back: Nacho Monreal (Arsenal)

The Spanish defender had an outstanding game against Leicester City on Saturday and he capped it off by setting up Olivier Giroud’s goal.

Midfielder: Ramires (Chelsea)

The Brazilian midfielder came in as a substitute and within six minutes of him been on the pitch, he scored a wonderful goal which brought his team back into the match. His second half cameo was exceptional and he was unlucky not to get Chelsea the winning goal in the closing stages of the match.

Midfielder: Eric Dier (Tottenham)

Eric Dier has been a revelation this season in the defensive midfielder role and he had another solid performance against Manchester City’s star-studded midfield. He capped off his excellent performance with a lovely goal.

Winger: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

The Chilean winger is back to his best after his match winning performance at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. He was involved in most of Arsenal attacking furore and scored his first premier league hat-trick.

Winger: Erik Lamela (Tottenham)

Erik Lamela was a thorn in the flesh of Manchester City defenders at White Hart lane on Saturday. He showed wonderful skill and composure to round back-up
Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero to slot home the fourth goal for his team.

Striker: Romelu Lukaku (Everton)

The Belgian striker had a wonderful second half performance against West Bromwich Albion on Monday night scoring two good goals.

Striker: Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool)

Daniel Sturridge showed Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool fans what they have been missing by scoring two lovely goals against Aston Villa at the weekend.

– Morgan Schneiderlin says his six happy years at Southampton have been destroyed by the club’s decision not to let him leave the club this summer.

– Julio Grondona, head of the Argentine FA (AFA) since 1979, member Fifa’s executive committee since 1988 who until his death was also Fifa’s senior vice-president as died at age of 82.

Grondona, was hospitalised in his native Buenos Aires on Wednesday with a heart failure.

– Argentina Football Association President and FIFA vice President Julio Grondona is dead. Grondona, 82, died at the Sanitarium Mitre, Buenos Aires, as he was to undergo surgery after being hospitalised having suffered a heart attack earlier on Wednesday.
