Week 25 games were played in both Division A and Division B of The Nigerian National League over the weekend with only the Dss Fc vs FRSC FC game to come up Today Monday the 25th of August 2014.
Of the seven games played in Division A, and even the eight games in Division B, Plateau Utd’s away victory vs TEAP FC remains the only victory on the road this week. that game ended 1-2 in favour of Plateau Utd.
The Kwara Utd game versus Wikki Tourist In Ilorin Recorded the highest number of gaols in a single game this week in the NNL, with Kwara Scoring 4, while Wikki could only manage 1, to make it a total of 5 goals.
This has now brought Kwara Utd within one point of Wikki who seat on top of the Log with 44 points, while Kwara Utd follow closely on second with 43 points.
The Battle for Promotion in Division B as taken another twist as Shooting Stars lost to First Bank Fc of Lagos 1-0 at the Agege Stadium, while Rivals Gabros Fc Defeated Prime FC 1-0, Gabros and 3SC are now joint first with 41 points each, but Shooting top the league with a Superior goals difference.

Kwara United FC of Ilorin, have berated the fans of Wikki Tourist of Bauchi over what it describes as “unruly behaviour” of the irate supporters of the club.
The club in a statement on Monday in Ilorin said the harassment of the match officials during week nine encounter involving it and Wikki at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi on Saturday at the close of the first 45minutes led to the centre referee Jonathan Zakariyah from Kaduna making all calls in Favour of the host.
The statement added that some fans of Wikki Tourist had attacked those supporting the visitors when they raised placards in support of the Afonja Warriors in the morning during the pre-match talks.
“It said our Bauchi fans were brutally attacked on Saturday morning when they came to meet us and support us when we arrived at the stadium for pre-match talks”
“Our bench was also attacked mid way into the second 45 when one of the fans obstructed the player warming up to come in”
“Because of the half time harassment, the referee made every call in Favour of the host and awarded a penalty to the host in the 61st minute converted by Mohammed Ahmed in the 62nd minute”
“When our Media Officer was taking pictures of the attack on our bench, some fans protested and even attempted to take his gadgets from him” the statement said.
The club urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), to tighten security around match officials in the Nigeria National League(NNL) as it remains the foundation of our Premier League.
