Done deals:

– Juventus have confirmed the signing of Rolando Mandragora from Genoa, with the midfielder set to spend the rest of the season on loan with Pescara.

– Norwich City sign Steven Naismith from Everton on three-and-a-half year deal.

– Watford have announced the signing of goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon from Sunderland on a three and a half- year deal.

– QPR have confirmed the signing of striker Conor Washington from Peterborough on a three-and-a-half year deal.

– Hellas Verona have signed defender Samir Caetano de Souza Santos on loan from Granada.

– Atalanta have completed the signing of Remo Freuler from FC Luzern.

– Kasimpasa have completed the signing of David Pavelka from Liberec.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Goalkeeper- Costel Pantilimon (Sunderland):

The Romanian goalkeeper had a standout performance on Saturday against Stoke City. He made four saves in the match to gives his team their second clean sheet in a week.

Right back- Adam Smith (Bournemouth):

The English defender sparked life into the Cherries team. His passing and darting runs brought life into Bournemouth’s attack and he capped it off with the “Goal of the weekend”

Centre back- Chris Smalling (Manchester United):

The Englishman was at his best once again for Manchester United at the weekend. He kept record-breaking Jamie Vardy quiet for most part of the game. He made nine clearances against Leicester City on Saturday.

Centre back- Kurt Zouma (Chelsea):

The young French defender was outstanding against Tottenham on Sunday. He was commanding in the air and nullified the threat of Harry Kane.

Left back- Patrick van Aanholt (Sunderland):

The Dutch defender had an outstanding performance against Stoke City and capped it off with a “cracking” goal.

Centre midfield- Fabian Delph (Manchester City):

The English midfielder had a good game at the weekend,building up play from the midfield. He capped off his outstanding performance with a goal.

Newfanzone BPL team of the week (Game Week 14)

Centre midfield- James McArthur (Crystal Palace):

The Scottish midfielder had a standout performance against Newcastle on Saturday. He “bossed” the midfield and scored two lovely goals.

Forward- Yannick Bolasie (Crystal Palace);

The Congolese winger was at his best at the weekend tormenting the Newcastle defenders with his trickery and pace. He capped it off with two well taken goals.

Forward- Junior Stanislas (Bournemouth):

The English winger had a standout performance against Everton scoring two crucial goals to help his team rescue a point at Vitality Stadium.

Forward- Ross Barkley (Everton):

Barkley continued his fine form at the weekend against Bournemouth. He had an outstanding game setting up Funes Mori’s goal and scoring a goal.

Striker- Jamie Vardy (Leicester City):

The Englishman continued his extraordinary goalscoring form at the weekend. He broke Ruud van Nistelrooy record by scoring in 11 consecutive premier league matches. Vardy is now just one short of equalling the all-time English record of 12 straight games set by Jimmy Dunne in the 1930s.

Here is the NEWFANZONE BPL TEAM OF THE WEEK as chosen by the lads @ The Newfanzone

Formation: 4-1-2-3

Goalkeeper- Costel Pantilimon (Sunderland): The “giant” Romanian goalkeeper had an outstanding Tyne-wear derby. He stopped Moussa Sissoko, Georginio Wijnaldum and Jack Colback from scoring in the first half.

Right-back- Kyle Walker (Tottenham): The English defender’s pace and athleticism was a joy to watch against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Centre back- Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal): Laurent Koscielny was a “rock” in defense against Everton. He coordinated his team’s back four and also got on the scoresheet.

Centre back- James Tomkins (West Ham): James Tomkins had an excellent performance against Chelsea at the weekend. He made four vital interceptions against Chelsea.

Left back- Aaron Cresswell (West Ham): Aaron Cresswell was on top of his game against their London rival’s Chelsea. His pace was a problem for Chelsea’s defence all through the match, he capped off his outstanding performance with a pin-point cross for Andy Carroll’s winning goal.

Newfanzone BPL team of the week (Game Week 10)

Defensive midfielder- Moussa Dembele(Tottenham): The Belgian midfielder has up his game in recent weeks, he had an outstanding performance in midfield for Tottenham and scored a well-taken goal.

Attacking midfielder- Almen Abdi (Watford): The Switzerland midfielder had an excellent game against Stoke City at the weekend. He orchestrated watford’s game with his quality and scored his team’s second goal.

Attacking midfielder- Mesut Ozil (Arsenal): Mesut Ozil dazzled against Everton at the weekend and got his seventh Premier league assist of the season.

Forward- Andre Ayew (Swansea): The Ghana international has an outstanding game at the weekend. He scored the winning goal for his team to ease the pressure on Gary Monk.

Forward- Jamie Vardy (Leicester City): The English striker continued his impressive start to the season against Crystal Palace at the weekend. He scored for a seventh Premier league match in a row, that is a huge accomplishment.

Forward- Harry Kane (Tottenham): The HurriKane is back” The young English striker got an hat-trick against Bournemouth at the weekend.

GoalKeeper: Costel Pantilimon (Sunderland)

The big Romanian goalkeeper was outstanding in the Tyne-Wear derby making two-world class saves from Sissoko and Perez respectively. He was one of the major reasons Sunderland defeated their fierce rivals.

Right back: Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City)

Zabaleta’s performance against Crystal Palace was simply superb. His movement throughout the game was breath-taking,creating numerous chances and was a source of concern to Crystal Palace defence.

Left back: Ashley Young (Manchester United)

Ashley Young had a lovely game against his former club at the weekend. His darting runs and crosses was a problem for the Aston Villa defence throughout the game. He capped off his outstanding performance with a sublime cross which gave his team their only goal of the match.

Centre defender: Maya Yosida (Southampton)

The Japanese defender dealt with the threat of Romelu Lukaku and Steven Naismith with ease. His all-round performance against Everton was exceptional scoring his team third goal with a brave header.

Centre defender: John O’shea (Sunderland)

Sunderland Captain O’shea was at his best with a commanding display in defence.

Midfielder: Yaya Toure (Manchester City)

Toure stepped up his game in absence of his team strikers. He was a constant source of invention in the midfield against a resolute Crystal Palace side. He capped off his outstanding display with an absolute belter to score his team’s third goal.

Newfanzone BPL week 17 team

Midfielder: Sebastian Larsson (Sunderland)

Larsson gave an hard-working and effective performance in Tyne-Wear derby. He was at the heart of everything that was good in the midfield.

Attacking midfielder: David Silva (Manchester City)

Silva gave a man of the match display against Crystal Palace scoring two lovely goals.

Forward: Stewart Downing (West Ham United)

Downing is playing the best football of his career this season creating 52 goal scoring chances this season more than any other player in the league. He scored a lovely goal this weekend to secure all three points for the Hammers.

Forward: Erik Lamela (Tottenham)

Lamela had an outstanding game against Burnley scoring a lovely goal.

Forward: Charlie Austin (Queens Park Rangers)

Austin is a prolific goal scorer and he showed why he is the man that can save QPR’s season with a well deserved hat-trick against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.

The Sunderland goal keeper was at his best and helped his team shut out Chelsea for the first time this season.

Right Back: Glen Johnson (Liverpool)

The Englishman’s goal was an act of bravery and determination to secure three points for his team putting his head where boots were flying, but he did so at some considerable cost to himself.

Left Back: Gael Clichy (Manchester City)

Clichy had a superb performance at St. Mary’s stadium and he capped it off with an exquisite goal.

Centre Defender: Chris Smalling ( Manchester United)

Smalling had a commanding performance against Hull City at the weekend and thanks to Goal-line technology his shot was adjudged to have crossed the line.

Centre Defender: Vincent Kompany (Manchester City)

The Belgian Defender was at his best co-coordinating his defence to thwart the threat of high-flying Southampton.

Midfielder: Leroy Fer (Queens Park Rangers)

Leroy Fer’s contribution throughout the match was exceptional,his darting run into Leicester City defence was a joy to watch all through the game and he scored a lovely goal to cap off a good-day’s job.

Midfielder: Yaya Toure (Manchester City)

Toure stamped his authority on the game at St.Mary’s stadium with a powerful performance and a fantastic goal.

Right Midfielder: Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)

Sterling was impressive throughout the match,asking questions of the Stoke city defence with his darting and attacking runs.

Left Midfielder: Santi Cazorla (Arsenal)

Cazorla had an excellent all-round performance. His role in Arsenal’s winner as a jinking run down the left was followed with a lovely cross for Danny Welbeck.

Forward: Robin van Persie ( Manchester United)

The Dutch Striker has been criticized in the past few weeks but his overall performance against Hull City was fantastic. He scored a world-class goal and assisted Wayne Rooney’s goal.

Forward: Charlie Austin ( Queens Park Rangers)

Austin has been the shinning-light for QPR and he secured all three points for his team with a sublime finish.
