ITS TIME FOR ARSENE WENGER TO LEAVE!!!- Adejuwon Ademola

Our man Adejuwon Ademola Strongly believes that its time for the Manager of his favourite Team to Leave.

Arsenal fc

After Sunday’s game against Chelsea, Arsenal are nine points behind the Blues (chelsea) which might almost ultimately have ruled the Gunners out of the title race once again.

The question on every Gunner lips is Where did it all go wrong???

Well i for one feel its time for Arsene Wenger to leave.

The French man seems not to understand that football is evolving everyday and the transfer window is where you need to strengthen every department of your team.

Some might say he has been working with lean Budgets due to the debt Arsenal are paying for the Emirates stadium but let’s start from last season so we can easily forget the pain Fabregas, Nasri, RVP, Song, Adebayor, Ashley Cole just to mention a few have caused when they left the Emirates.

Last season Arsene Wenger brought in Mesut Oezil from Madrid for a record transfer fee but he failed to address the situation of other departments in the team, whilst he also brought in Mathieu Flamini (free) and untested french man Yaya Sanogo.

The Gunners were very fortunate as Mesut Oezil hit the ground running immediately and Aaron Ramsey was playing out of his skin but Wenger was not aware that Fatigue and Injuries would hit his lean squad (Ramsey,Oezil,Walcott) but he was very fortunate as Arsenal were still EPL table toppers till January were it was another opportunity to sign players.

Wenger as usual waited till the last minute till he loaned an injured player in Kim Kallstrom to add to the ever increasing injury list.

The Gunners suffered terribly in February where they virtually lost everything and were battered on their trips to Anfield, Goodison Park and Stamford Bridge.

The return of Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Oezil was too little too late as the Gunners could only finish fourth But ended up with the FA cup as a consolation.

At the end of last season, some players were already close to their Mid 30’s and have started to lose pace most especially Mikel Arteta who sits at the end of Arsenal Midfield.

Wenger sold yet another captain in Thomas Vermaelen. Experienced players like Fabianski and Sagnà left the club while some fringe players were released and in came Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy, Callum Chambers, Colombian David Ospina and Danny Welbeck.

Arsenal

Wenger failed to realise that Arsenal needed a Defensive midfielder to replace Aged Arteta whilst we were linked to Khedira,Bender Brothers,Schneiderlin and William Carvalho.

A Sneak peek into other title contenders and you could see intent from Chelsea who knew that they needed a Striker from last season and bought Diego Costa, Defending EPL champions Manchester city signed Mangala to replace Demechellis and also a top goalie in Caballero to keep Joe hart on his toes and Man United got a world class Manager and have assembled a world class squad.

We started the season well but Arteta and Ramsey started suffering some Niggling injuries which has left us with only Jack Wiltshire and Mathieu Flamini, which has seen us get only 2 wins in 7 EPL games this season.

Apart from the fact that the french man has failed to sign the players he needs, his tactics should also be called to question.

We see managers change formation according to the team they face but Wenger just sticks to the same tactic which has cost us some games this season.

A good example is putting Ozil and Monreal on the left flank against Everton where you have Lukaku who has power and pace and was deployed on the flank by Roberto Martinez on the Right wing even though he is a centre forward.

He also does not prepare his team physically enough to go into games.

Arsenal has been looking for another EPL title since 2004 which i don’t think its possible again this season.

The Arsenal board needs to act fast so that Arsenal can be more equipped next season to challenge other teams for the title.

Arsene Wenger

I think the slogan “IN WENGER WE TRUST” is getting soured in the lips of those who buy Seasoned tickets or those that spends ample time and pay a token to see the Arsenal play football.

We need a change in Philosophy and Management. Nine years of not lifting the EPL trophy is enough!!!

ITS TIME FOR ARSENE WENGER TO LEAVE!!!

FORMATION- 4-2-3-1

GOALKEEPER: BEN HAMER– The Leicester city. Second choice goalie made his EPL debut when first choice Kasper Schmeichel was forced to miss the game due to injury he sustained during the international break with Denmark. Hamer made sure Leicester took all three points from the Hawthorns with spectacular saves and even a double save from Diouf and Moses close to the end of the game.

RIGHT BACK: RAFAEL DA SILVA– Rafael played his socks off at the right back position for Manchester United. Even though you’ll say its against QPR the Brazillian showed why he would want to make that right back his own.

LEFT BACK: GAEL CLICHY– He was so unlucky not to get a goal against his former club. He was both assured at the back as well as in front.

CENTRE BACK: VINCENT KOMPANY- The Manchester city captain through his whole body in the line to scupper all the attack Arsenal brought to him. He was not afraid to go into tackles and made sure Arsenal new boy Danny Welbeck was silent for most part of the game.

CENTRE BACK: In the Absence of Ron Vlaar, Swiss international Philipe Sanderos coordinated his back line as Aston Villa left Anfield without conceding a goal. He was not fazed by Balotelli antics but kept his calm as they move two points off the Summit of the EPL.

DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD: MOGRAN SCHNEIDERLIN– The Saints Captain showed he has put what happened in the transfer window behind him by putting in a spectacular performance against Newcastle in their biggest win of the season. He even capped his fine performance with a 90th minute goal.

HOLDING MIDFIELD: ANDER HERRERA– The former Bilbao man is a man to watch for the New look United side this season. Ability to pick out players by providing assists and also scoring his fair share of goals. His performance against Harry Redknapp side sure makes him a sure bet for our team of the week.

ATTACKING MIDFIELD: JACK WILSHERE– The young English man was obviously Arsenal best player on the pitch of play against Manchester City. He got the needed equaliser and also an assist to make sure Arsenal salvaged a point at the Emirates. His overall play was also excellent which moved his coach Arsene Wenger to heap praises on Jack.

LEFT WINGER: ANGEL DI MARIA– The Angel has finally arrived in England. He scored a sublime free kick and also got an assist bagging a MOTM award against QPR as he looked to be an exciting signing for Louis Van Gaal.

RIGHT WINGER: ALEXIS SANCHEZ– Alexis work rate against the defending champions was excellent and his goal fantastic. The Chilean alongside Wilshere were Arsenal Brightest spark in the game and they together brought Arsenal back into the game.

FORWARD: DIEGO COSTA- Seven goals in the last four games, an Hat-trick in the last match-day Diego Costa positional sense and finishing is what Chelsea needs if they want to win the EPL this season. If Costa keep scoring then Chelsea will keep winning.
