African Volleyball Confederation “CAVB” mourns Khalid El Shamouty who was one of the national team stars who participated with the national team in the Olympic Games and World Championships.
El Shamouty started his volleyball Career in Heliopolis Club in early 80th and then transferred to Ahly where he led the team to win the Egyptian league 8 times in 10 years and three time in the African Club championship. He was selected to the national team in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 1984 and represented his country also in the World Championship in 1986 and the World Cup
