This new kind of courts are parts of the CAVB Development strategy to supply all African countries with outdoor courts to help the spread of the sport in areas without indoor halls.

Sierra Leone VB Federation Secretary General Ahmed Khanou celebrated the launching of the court as a small festival was held to involve the African dream kids in presence of some important media.

The West African country is now one of the best developing countries in Africa specially in Beach VB where they are ranked 9th among the 53 affiliated National Federations.
