RANGERS SET FOR ENYIMBA FC

Cola City Flying Antelopes, Rangers International FC Enugu intensified their training on Friday in preparation for their derby with rivals Enyimba FC of Aba on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikikwe Stadium, Enugu.

In a statement, the Director Media and Publicity of Rangers, Foster Chime said the general manager of Ranger, Ozor Paul Chibuzor Thursday approved the payment of match bonus to the players for picking up a point away to Bayelsa United in Oghara, Delta State, Ozor Described this gesture as a way to motivate the players to beat Enyimba on Sunday.

According to him, Rangers management has also pledged am undisclosed sum of money through the GM to ensure total victory against Enyimba on Sunday, as well as financial promises by the Friends of the GM and the club.

The newly elevated technical director of the team Imamo Amapakabo expressed satisfaction with the teams preparation and the players fitness level for the game.

He disclosed that some of the players nursing injuries prior for their Bayelsa match inclding Odah Onoriode, Rasaq Adegbite and Senegales Onsmone will be fit for Sundays game and that he is confident that Rangers will win.

Rangers is currently placed seventh in the GLO premier League table with 27 points in the league which winds up the first stanza after Sundays games nation wide.
