The Algerian Women’s Volleyball Team arrived in the Kenyan Capital of Nairobi to participate in the 2015 Women’s African Nations Championship to start in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday June 12.
The ex African champions passed through Cairo in their journey to Kenya, where they met in Cairo Airport the Algerian VB Federation President Okba Gougam, also the CAVB Zone 1 President, who was in Egypt to attend the CAVB Board of Administration meeting.
The Italian Coach François Salvani selected the final squad of 12 players after they trained in a camp in Italy last week. the squad includes Safia Boukhima, Aicha Mezmate, Newel Mansouri, Salima Hamouche, Fatma Zohra Oukazi, Zohra Bensalem, Kahina chetout, Lydia Oulmou, Kahina Arbouche, Mouni Abderahim, Ait Oumghar Nadira, Amina Guimour.
The technical staff includes François Salvani (Head coach), Toufik Benomari et Nabil Tenoune (Ass coaches), Asma Benabid (Therapist).
