Newfanzone BPL Team Of The Week. Game Week 7

The Lads at the Newfanzone have collectively selected this week’s Barclays Premier League team of the week (Week 7). 

We have chosen to line up in a classic 4-4-2 attacking formation and this are the stand out players for us.

Formation: 4-4-2

GK: David De Gea (Manchester United)

De Gea was in blistering form against the Everton on Sunday,he
made a number of crucial saves which proved
to be game-changing moments. He was simply the match winner for Manchester United on Sunday.

Right Back: Rafael (Manchester Utd)

The Brazilian man was at his best making decisive blocks and interception,he was impregnable in a make-shift Manchester United back-line.

Left Back: Cezar Azpilicueta (Chelsea)

Cezar had outstanding performance against Arsenal on Sunday. He neutralized any treat the gunners could have posed from the right wing.

Central Defender: Younes Kaboul (Tottenham)

The Spurs captain seems to be re-born and he keeps delivering match-winning performances. Kaboul was at his best co-ordinating his back-line as they hang-on to a 1-0 win against Southampton.

Central Defender: Gary Cahill (Chelsea)

Gary Cahill was fortunate not to get
sent off for his first-half tackle on Alexis
Sanchez but apart from the 1 minute of “madness”,Cahill was at his best and took the
responsibility of handling Danny Welbeck’s
pace. He neutralized any threat the in-form Arsenal striker could have posed.

Midfielder: Jordan Henderson (Liverpool)

Henderson was expectional in Liverpool’s win against West Brom, making himself available to receive a pass or
assist his team-mates in order to advance the
play. He capped off his fantastic performance with a winning goal for the Reds.

Midfielder: Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea)

Cesc was at his best and showed what Arsenal are missing with his 40-yard pass that
paved the way for Diego Costa to score his
ninth league goal of the season.

Right Midfielder: Angel Di Maria (Manchester United)

Di Maria continues to show why Manchester United spent so much on him in the summer,he was at the heart of every United’s attacking move on Sunday,scoring and making a assist for Falcao.

Left Midfielder: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

The Chelsea winger was the tormentor in chief against Arsenal on Sunday with his dribbling skills and darting runs. He was a thorn in the flesh of Calum Chambers throughout the match.

Striker: Papis Cisse (Newcastle United)

The Senegalese striker looks like a man on a mission to save Alan Pardew’s job, because he keeps scoring a brace whenever Newcastle are in trouble.

Striker: Steven Fletcher (Sunderland)

Fletcher was at his best against Stoke City, He scored a superb header and his lovely turn and cross to set-up Connor Wickham goal was fantastic.
