2015 CAVB Coaches Commission Meeting
CAVB Coaches Commission held its meeting in Cairo, Egypt on Sunday with new ideas to raise the coaches activity to a higher level in presence of CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani and the commission president Sherif El Shemerly.
Elwani praised the efforts done by the coaches in Africa to improve the level of the sport at all levels and asked the commission to put on table more proposals to promote both volleyball and beach volleyball.
El Shemely started the meeting with a presentation of the CAVB Coaches report at the FIVB Coaches commission last week and showed the items of progress in 2014.
He then showed the organised coaches courses in 2014 and the calendar of courses in 2015 at the National, regional and continental levels.
The commission also discussed the Coaches Aid Program and coaches scholarship which was proposed in the last year’s meeting.
The meeting was attended by CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani, Coaches Commission President Sherif El Shemerly, Mayam Blaise, Oghuma Tony, Bernard Denise, Moustafa Ahchouche, Adam Kpenoukoundehow and CAVB Executive Director Howyda Mondy.
