“Show Your Colours” Campaign Shortlisted For BT Sport Industry Awards

The ITF is proud to announce that the “Show Your Colours” campaign launched in 2014 for our flagship competitions, Davis Cup by BNP Paribas and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas, has been shortlisted for the prestigious BT Sport Industry Awards in the category of Best International Marketing Campaign. The campaign was created by the ITF and the TwelfthMan agency to showcase the special relationship that fans around the world have with Davis Cup and Fed Cup as the World Cup of Tennis. It received unprecedented support from the ITF’s member nations who participate in the competitions and a huge boost in social media followers and attendance at ties.

“Show Your Colours” is nominated alongside five other international campaigns including adidas (Launching Brazuca to the World); AIG (Rugby Safety Awards); HTC One M8 Launch (Harnessing the Power of Football); McDonald’s (FryFutbol) and Samsung (Galaxy 11).

“I want to congratulate all of our team and our nations who contributed to the success of the “Show Your Colours” campaign,” said ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti. “It was gratifying to see a celebration of the amazing fans who make an enormous contribution to the special atmosphere that characterises Davis Cup by BNP Paribas and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas. The branding around each tie as well as the digital and social media campaigns that supported “Show Your Colours” showcased what makes our competitions stand out in tennis.”

“The ITF offered us a very rare opportunity to develop a campaign on a truly global scale,” said Scott Ryder, Partner at TwelfthMan. “With the Davis Cup and Fed Cup taking place in every corner of the globe, we had to create a campaign and brand toolkit which had maximum flexibility, scalability and was easy for individual nations to apply across all touch points. It has been fantastic to see the campaign embraced globally and we look forward to working with the ITF on its continued evolution.”
