Jordan Olympic Committee signs official partnership with Radio Hala and Bliss 104.3FM
The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) marked World Radio Day on Friday by launching an official partnership with Radio Hala and Bliss 104.3FM – an exclusive agreement that will help to spread positive sporting news across the Kingdom.
The partnership will provide a platform for the JOC’s Living Sport communications plan which encourages sport participation across Jordan to improve the health of the nation and help keep vulnerable young people safe from anti-social behaviour.
Speaking at the signing on World Radio Day, JOC Secretary General Lana Al Jaghbeer said: “The partnership with Radio Hala and Bliss 104.3FM provides an excellent opportunity for our passionate fans in Jordan to tune in and listen to their favourite Olympic athletes discuss the values of sport and the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle. Our news service already provides a regular flow of positive sports news that people want to read through social media, so it is a big audience-boost for us that it will now be broadcasted as well.”
Nour Khazal Malhas, the Commercial Director for Radio Hala and Bliss 104.3FM, said: “We’re excited about taking our relationship with the JOC to the next level. Through our partnership we aim to involve the Jordanian public in the world of sport and sport values. With radio platforms in both Arabic and English, we’ll be able to give our athletes the attention they deserve.”
As part of the partnership, Radio Hala and Bliss 104.3FM will benefit from becoming the ‘go-to’ stations for Jordanian sports fans whilst the JOC will benefit from increased awareness across all Radio Hala and Bliss 104.3FM platforms. The stations will air weekly sports shows featuring all of the latest sports news in Jordan, regular competitions and exclusive live interviews with Jordan’s star performers.
It will lead to an exclusive topical sports programme called Living Sport being broadcasted weekly.
The JOC is the umbrella organisation for sport in Jordan responsible for the management of sport within the Kingdom, including its 34 national sporting federations.
