Following the formal invitation received from UK-based Team Tours Direct earlier this week by the management of Buruj Sports Academy, interested players who want to be selected for the trip to feature at Dubai International Super Cup have been advised to come forward for their registration before the entries are declared closed.
The Managing Director of Buruj Sports Academy, Salaudeen Waheed, and some officials of the Ikorodu-based academy left Turkey for London on Wednesday and are already holding talks with their Team Tours Direct counterparts with a view to solidifying all arrangements and put finishing touches to all contractual details that will ensure a hitch-free participation in the competition that will attract young players from all corners of the globe.
The Dubai International Super Cup will hold between March 29 and April 1st, this year. The games will be played inside Dubai Emirates Sevens Stadium under the watchful eyes of some international scouts who will be shopping for young talents for some top clubs across Europe and Asia.
Aside from Dubai tournament, other competitions where the players that register to train with Buruj Sports Academy will have the opportunity to showcase their talents this year are Turkish Super Cup, English Super Cup, Welsh Super Cup and hosts of others.
“We are calling on interested members of public to come forward and register their wards so they will enjoy this unique opportunity of featuring in some of the international competitions we want to feature in this year. Our selection process will be on merit, perhaps first come, first served basis and players with exceptional talents also stand the chance of making the trip. We will train them so that they will be prepared for what they will face when they get there and that’s why it is important that they come forward to register early,” Dr. Buruj said.
