ITTF Agrees TV Rights Deal with Eleven Sports

The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has agreed a deal with ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK for it’s TV rights within Singapore starting in 2017.

Under the agreement, ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK has acquired a multi-year rights deal to broadcast ITTF World Tour events in Singapore.

Table Tennis is one of the most popular sports in Singapore, with famous players such as LI Jiawei, FENG Tianwei and WANG Yuegu, who formed the trio that won the silver medal in the women’s team table tennis event at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. More recently, Singapore also won the World Team Table Tennis Championships in 2010 and team Olympic bronze at London 2012.

“This addition to our rights portfolio in Singapore enhances ELEVEN’s position as a leading global sports network devoted to delivering premium, relevant content in local markets,” says Danny Menken, Group Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK. “Table Tennis is a hugely popular sport in Singapore and we are delighted to be able to offer it to the fans.”
