Club captain Azeez Ladipo expressed his disappointment towards the difficulties encountered in the visa process. “the visa processing is a lot different now from what we are used to, the changes hindered us from getting the Visas but nevertheless we will put adequate plans in place next year to meet up with the visa processing requirements.

Cowrie Team Manager; Fasimoye Olatunji also expressed disappointment‘ “we were ignorant of the new South African Visa procedures and started preparation for the tour early in January as usual which is too late for the new Visa process. Though the boys are frustrated for missing out in the tournament the club’s management is now looking at compensating the them with a substitute 10s tour to Europe later in the year.
