– Mino Raiola has decided to pull out of the race for the Fifa presidency after Dutch FA (KNVB) chief Michael Van Praag announced that he will challenge Sepp Blatter for the position. “Running for the Fifa presidency was not about me, but about having a good candidate to challenge Blatter. We have a good candidate now. Van Praag is someone with a better network, with more patience and who is a bit more of a natural when it comes to politics.” Raiola said
– According to reports, England Football Association will back Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein’s bid to become FIFA president.
– Coach of the DR Congo national team Florent Ibenge says facing Congo in the Afcon 2015 quarterfinals is more than just a derby. “We want to act first.
