With the completion of all the Grand slam of the year, the players still try to jostle for points in the ATP and WTA rankings by their involvement in various singles tournament. This week rankings are out and at NEWFANZONE we give you the top ten players in the rankings.

TENNIS TITBITS
* The first Asian Man to ever appear in a Grand slam final Kei Nishikori spoke to CNN Hong Kong where he talked about how the Japanese fans always supported him and his love for Roger Federer.

* Rafael Nadal returns to action in Beijing in the Doubles event as he and his partner lost to John Isner and Tomas Berdych 5-7,6-4,4-10

* Stanislas Wawrinka ranked number four in the world has his eyes in the title as Tokyo as a win there would all but confirm his involvement in the season ending ATP world tour in London.

*Andy Murray was overcome with emotion as he won the Shenzhen Open against Tommy Robredo in the finals. Andy Murray has last won a title dating back to his Wimbledon triumph in 2013.

* In the Asian games Indian tennis player Saketh Myneni bagged two medals in the mixed doubles and mixed singles event in Yeorumul tennis court in South Korea.
